Stroopwafel Cake

- 185 g quark
- 125 g apple sauce
- 80 g agave syrup
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 6 tbsp margarine (melted)
- 60 ml milk
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 270 g flour
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 5 stroopwafels (cut into pieces)
instructions
- Preheat the oven at 175 °C.
- Add to quark, apple sauce, agave syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, margarine and milk to a mixing bowl. Beat it till its a smooth texture.
- Add the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add ⅓ of the mixture to a baking tin, add 1½ stroopwafel on top, add another ⅓ of the mixture and 1½ stroopwafel, and add the last ⅓ of the mixture and 1½ stroopwafel on top.
- Bake for 40 minutes. Let it cool down for 10 minutes in the baking tin.
